Hi, my name is Brian Maury.  I grew up in the real estate business.  My grandfather, John F. Maury, was a Washington real estate appraiser and real estate broker when much of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area was still farm land.  
 
My father, Deane Maury, founded Stuart & Maury, Realtors in 1956. My older brother, Matthew Maury, is the broker of Stuart & Maury, Realtors today.  I began my real estate career with my father and brother at Stuart & Maury, Realtors in 1992.  
 
My mother, Nancy Walker, was the founder of Persimmon Tree Designs, an interior design firm in Potomac, Md.  My step-father, Claxton Walker, was the founder of Claxton Walker & Associates, the nation’s oldest running home inspection firm.  My brother Scott Maury is an ASHI certified home inspector with Claxton Walker & Associates.  
 
In 2002 I started Brian Maury Real Estate to continue the family tradition of providing real estate services to the Washington area.  While I specialize in the Bethesda/Chevy Chase area I also have some expertise in upper Northwest D.C. and Potomac.  
 
My sister, Elizabeth Bower, is my business manager and right-hand woman!  She is also a talented interior decorator and often assists my clients in the staging of their properties prior to listing them for sale.  She is active in the coordination of the new home projects I participate in.
 
I am married with four children in live off Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda, MD.
